Thursday Thoughts...

It's been a long time. I shouldn't have left you...

     Hey Folks.. It's been a MINUTE since my 1st and only post and as life would have it, it certainly has been an eventful couple of months since. I have traveled to New Orleans and Vegas celebrating with some of my girlfriends . Both trips I realized I am not as young as I think I am.😒 Of course I have purchased some amazing footwear and things! I have attended several concerts to the point that I need to invest in ticketmaster and I have also started putting together a "40 by 40" checklist that I plan to complete by my birthday. It has been a great couple of months! It also has been a sad couple of months as the person I thought would be in my life FOOOOREVAH, I decided to part ways with right after my birthday.
     One of the hardest things I have ever done, but had to. I honestly think that was the end of our story. This was the third time we have tried so yeah, the fat lady sung her heart out on this one! I have no regrets as I am optimistic on what God has in store for me. Not even in regards to a relationship but LIFE. I let myself feel happy, sad, mad and go through all of the emotions I need to at that time. As with all things time will not only reveal, it will heal. Looking forward to the healing part actually.   
      I think the older you get, you start to doubt yourself. Will I find my purpose? A relationship that's for me? Health and Wealth? Who knows.. All I can do is continue to push through and LIVE. God got me so in the meantime, I will continue to LOVE and LAUGH. Live, Laugh and Love are what I have tatted on the left side of my foot as a reminder to do just that!

Sooooooo, you wanna blog huh!

Entry... Numero Uno!

     I have wanted to create a blog for a few months now.  All I can say is the P word.. PROCRASTINATION got in my way man!!! Would anyone be interested in what I have to say? Are you interested in what you have to say? What would I talk about? Well folks, I plan to talk about any and everything that comes to mind! Things that "grind my gears" to my latest obsession, I will talk about it all and then some!
    It's Saturday! Sneaker Saturday as I say! So let's talk about SNEAKERS! Three weeks ago, I spent one of my weekends at none other than the  1st ever AIR MAX CON!! My love of the Air Max sneaker started in 1995 or 95 as some would say. The neon green colorway was epic and just plain phenomenal!!Also, it was a favorite sneaker of any and everyone I knew. Those who know me now, wonder when did I start wearing sneakers. Those who knew me when, wonder when did I start wearing heels. Go figure! Anywoo, AIR MAX CON was on Thursday March 24th, Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th and was a sneaker convention that brought sneaker lovers, specifically air max lovers, together on a epic journey through the heritage, design and innovation story of Air Max. I had Friday off so I made my way downtown early and joined my girls who were waiting on the line. What a line is was! Friday, we just breezed through to see what is was all about but Saturday was the day I had the full experience. From talking to folks and snapping pics of some exclusive sneakers, to having a chance to design my own Air Max sneakers, I was in heaven!!! Saturday, I was with my sneaker partner in crime who wore a pair of vintage Air Max's of course! She knew what time it was!! We danced to the DJ who was super dope and honestly, took it all in and made sure we did everything!! It was a GREAT experience that I plan to be part of  next year. 1 thing is for sure, I will have some heat on my feet!!! I can say, I did not see anyone with my AM 90's I wore on Friday or the AM 1's I wore on Saturday, BUT folks came to show!!  I was in awe and I knew I would be.. EXCITING!!! Oh, and  NIKE NYC sent me a Air Max bracelet.. LOVED IT!!!
